Information is guidance, not a guarantee
We compile eligibility rules, dates and vacancy figures from official government notifications and take considerable care to get them right. Even so, notifications are amended mid-cycle, corrigendums are issued, and departments interpret their own rules. The official notification is always the final authority. Always read it before paying an application fee.
No affiliation with any government body
Govt Exam Check is an independent private website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Staff Selection Commission, UPSC, IBPS, the Railway Recruitment Boards, any State Public Service Commission or any other government organisation. Names of examinations and organisations are used only to identify the recruitment being described.
We never collect application fees
All application fees are paid on the official government portal. We will never ask you for a fee, a document, or your application credentials.
Acceptable use
- You may use this site freely for your own job search.
- Automated bulk scraping of our eligibility data is not permitted. If you want programmatic access, write to us.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the service or circumvent its rate limits.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on information here, including a missed deadline or a rejected application. Our responsibility is to correct errors quickly when they are reported — please do report them.
Advertising
This site displays third-party advertising. We do not endorse advertised products or services, and we are not responsible for the content of external sites. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are handled.
How our eligibility results should be used
The eligibility checker applies the rules published in official notifications to the details you enter. It is a calculation aid, not an authority. Where a result says you are eligible, you should still read the notification before paying an application fee; where it says you are not, you should check whether a relaxation applies that you did not tell us about.
The check runs entirely within your browser. We do not receive, store or transmit the date of birth, category or qualification you enter, and we therefore cannot retrieve or restore a previous result for you.
Accuracy and corrections
We compile data from official sources and verify it before publication, but recruiting bodies amend notifications mid-cycle and errors are possible. If you find one, please report it — corrections are treated as urgent and are usually applied the same day. Where information is not yet verified, we label it as such rather than presenting it as confirmed.
External links
We link to official government portals so that you can verify what we publish and apply directly. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Where we store a copy of a notification, it is provided for reference only and the version on the official website prevails.
Intellectual property
The written analysis, guides and eligibility logic on this site are our own work. Factual information taken from government notifications — dates, vacancy counts, eligibility rules — is public information and we claim no ownership of it. You are welcome to quote us with attribution and a link. Republishing our articles in full is not permitted.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site develops. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
